(Harrisburg, PA) - Judge Andrew Napolitano will be the featured dinner speaker at the 2016 Pennsylvania Leadership Conference to be held April 1-2, 2016 at the Radisson Penn Harris Convention Center in Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania. Registration for the conference opens today at www.paleadershipconference.org.
Judge Napolitano joined Fox News Channel (FNC) in January 1998 and currently serves as the senior judicial analyst. He provides legal analysis on both FNC and the Fox Business Network (FBN) throughout the day Monday through Friday. He is nationally known for watching and reporting on the government as it takes liberty and property.
Judge Napolitano tenaciously defends the natural law freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. Famous for his candid remarks, signature wit, and personal anecdotes, Judge Napolitano is the American Media's most outspoken analyst of the legal system, most fervent critic of government intervention into personal lives and commercial transactions, and most passionate defender of the Constitution. He also lectures nationally on the rule of law, civil liberties in war time, and on human freedom.
Judge Andrew P. Napolitano is the youngest life-tenured Superior Court judge in the history of the State of New Jersey. While on the bench from 1987 to 1995, Judge Napolitano presided over more than 150 jury trials and sat in all parts of the Superior Court - criminal, civil, equity, and family. He has handled thousands of sentencings, motions, hearings, and divorces. He taught constitutional law and jurisprudence at Delaware Law School for two years and Seton Hall Law School for 11 years and currently a Distinguished Visiting Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School. He was often chosen by the students as their most outstanding professor. Judge Napolitano returned to private law practice in 1995 and began television broadcasting in the same year.
The Judge is the author of eight books on the U.S. Constitution, two of which have been New York Times best-sellers. His most recent book, Suicide Pact: The Radical Expansion of Presidential Powers and the Assault on Civil Liberties (2014), details a long, sordid history of governmental - and especially presidential -encroachments on liberty, enacted in the name of protecting America but which serve instead to undermine national security and erode the nation's founding freedoms
With great conviction and brutal honesty, Judge Napolitano reminds audiences what America is all about: The purpose of government is to protect our freedoms; you cannot make a poor person rich by making a rich person poor; and the engine of our prosperity has been rugged individualism, not government intervention.
Judge Napolitano will join a who's who of luminaries in headlining the annual conference. In recent years featured speakers have included Sharyl Attkisson, Jonah Goldberg, Steve Hayes, Frank Luntz, Charles Krauthammer, Dick Morris, Michael Reagan, Ann Coulter, Michele Malkin, Joe Scarborough, and Laura Ingraham. The conference also features appearances by state and national leaders, interactive panel presentations, and exhibits by numerous conservative organizations.
The Pennsylvania Leadership Conference is the premier gathering of conservatives each year in the Keystone State. It is the largest and longest-running of the state-based conservative conferences regularly attracting a long list of conservative elected officials, scholars, journalists and activists for two days of speeches, panel presentations, workshops and networking.
