Keith Rothfus is passionate about ensuring that America remains the land of opportunity and freedom that the Founders intended it to be. He was sworn in on January 3, 2015 and is serving his second term in the United States House of Representatives.
As a member of the Financial Services Committee, Keith addresses issues concerning the banking system, housing, insurance, and securities markets. The committee also has jurisdiction over monetary policy, international finance, international monetary organizations, and efforts to combat terrorism financing.
The Committee oversees the Federal Reserve Board and individual reserve banks, the Treasury, the production and distribution of currency, and the Nation’s capital markets.
Keith serves on the Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit and the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance. His Financial Services work enables him to promote policies for a competitive economy that will result in more jobs and better wages.
Keith represents Pennsylvania’s Twelfth Congressional District, which includes all of Beaver County and portions of Allegheny, Cambria, Lawrence, Somerset, and Westmoreland Counties in Western Pennsylvania.
The Twelfth Congressional District is the home to diverse industries such as manufacturing, energy, financial services, education, and health care. Keith is fighting to reduce federal regulations and promote free enterprise so that the economy can grow at a healthier pace and create jobs.
