Jordan Richardson is an attorney and Senior Policy Analyst at the Charles Koch Institute, where he conducts research on how criminal justice reform can improve well-being for all Americans.
Prior to joining the Charles Koch Institute, he managed Generation Opportunity's state-based criminal justice portfolio and was a Visiting Legal Fellow at the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at the Heritage Foundation.
As a frequent speaker and writer on the topic of overcriminalization, Jordan’s research has appeared in The Washington Post, TIME, Newsweek, Roll Call, The Boston Herald and many other publications throughout the country.
In 2015, Jordan was named in Red Alert Politics “30 Under 30,” which highlights young, right-of-center leaders who are making a difference on a local, state, and national scale and in their communities.
Jordan received his law degree from Ohio Northern University where he was a member of the Moot Court team and president of the Federalist Society. He also holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Marshall University. He is a member of theState Bar of West Virginia.
