Curt Schroder

Curt Schroder is an attorney who spent his early years witnessing first-hand the abuses of the Philadelphia court system.  Schroder was elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1994 and served for 17 years.  During his nine terms in the House, Schroder was a tireless advocate for reforming the civil justice system.  Many of the changes to the legal system championed by Schroder resulted in stemming the flow of doctors who were leaving the state due to crushing medical malpractice liability costs. Curt Schroder was also a leader in passing the Fair Share Act which ensures that a party in a lawsuit will not have to pay a greater share than that for which they are legally responsible.

Curt Schroder is the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Civil Justice Reform, a statewide organization dedicated to fairness in our laws and courts and committed to stopping abusive trial lawyer practices.
